Job summary

Zepto in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Technical Program Manager I to drive multi-team technical programs in a fast-paced environment. You will own end-to-end program execution, maintain roadmaps, and enable cross-functional alignment between engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities include managing dependencies, risks, and communication across stakeholders; leading stand-ups and sprint ceremonies; and driving process improvements to boost delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IS, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years as a TPM, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, APIs, system architecture, cloud concepts, and Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project delivery.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to drive delivery, remove blockers, and influence teams without direct authority.
• CSM or PMI-ACP certification preferred.

• Program Execution & Tracking: Lead day-to-day execution of technical initiatives using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Maintain project roadmaps, tracking milestones, deliverables, and team bandwidth.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary bridge between engineering teams, product managers, and external stakeholders. Ensure clear scope definitions, engineering requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Dependency & Risk Management: Identify, document, and manage technical dependencies across teams. Flag potential blockers or scope creep early and work with engineers to mitigate risks.
• Communication & Reporting: Run recurring status meetings, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions. Provide clear, data-driven status reports and metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Standardize team workflows, documentation practices, and release management to improve delivery efficiency.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
