Job summary

Capco seeks a Senior Technology Product Owner (15+ years) to translate business intent into a prioritised, delivery-ready backlog for ECDF, aligning with HR policy and Digital X principles.

The role requires deep familiarity with Workday, AWS, security policies, and regulatory obligations. You will bridge UK stakeholders with India-based teams in an agile environment to deliver

Qualifications

• 15+ years as a senior technology product owner delivering enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of technology platforms and enterprise delivery.
• Experience with NWG assurance processes: DPIA/GDPR, records, risk assessment, change freeze, design board submissions.
• On-shore bridge between UK stakeholders and India build teams.
• Able to prioritise in-flight work balancing risk and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior leaders.
• Cloud-native mindset with AWS-based architectures and APIs integration.
• Experience in agile product teams with Scrum Master and Solution Architect.
• Experience delivering enterprise tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own technology product backlog for ECDF, aligned to HR outcomes and Digital X principles.
• Maintain fluency with NWG ecosystem (Workday, SSO, security policies) and governance.
• Act as the on-shore liaison between UK stakeholders and India-based delivery teams.

• Collaborate with architects, security, and engineering teams; manage stakeholders.

Senior technology product owner (15+ years) with strong understanding of technology platforms and enterprise delivery within NatWest, responsible for translating Business intent into a prioritised, delivery-ready backlog. Core responsibilities and skills:

• Owns the technology product backlog for ECDF, ensuring alignment to People Business outcomes, HR policy, and Digital X principles.
• Deep familiarity with NWG internal ecosystem including Workday (HCM/Talent), corporate SSO (Active Directory, PingFederate), security policies, and CTO / CDIO design governance.
• Experience operating within NWG assurance processes: DPIA/GDPR, records management, security risk assessment, change freeze calendars, and design board submissions.
• Acts as the on-shore bridge between UK stakeholders (People Business, PeopleTech, Digital X, Architecture, Security) and the India-based build teams.
• Able to make in-flight prioritisation decisions balancing experience, risk, governance, and delivery pace.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — comfortable operating with senior HR leaders, architects, and engineering teams.
• Cloud-native mindset with hands-on understanding of AWS-based application architectures, APIs, and integration patterns in a regulated environment.
• Experience working in agile product teams, partnering closely with Scrum Master and Solution Architect to manage scope, dependencies, and delivery sequencing.
• Prior experience delivering enterprise platforms or organisation-wide tooling is strongly preferred.
