Job summary

Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm, is seeking a Product Owner to drive product roadmaps in fintech and financial services. You will collaborate with banks and insurance clients to shape backlogs and deliver impactful features.

With extensive experience in fraud prevention and API-driven environments, you will guide discovery, prioritisation, and delivery in a fast-paced setting, coordinating with executives and project teams across locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking/fintech or financial services with Product Owner/PM experience.
• Strong domain knowledge in fraud prevention and/or financial crime.
• Proven ownership of product roadmap from discovery to delivery.
• Excellent requirements analysis and user-story writing skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira/Confluence.
• Data-driven with ability to influence prioritisation and design decisions.
• Understanding of APIs and modern banking tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product roadmap and backlog for financial services projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams in an Agile/Scrum setting.
• Prioritise features based on data, risk, and business impact.
• Communicate clearly with executives and partners on progress.

Job Description -

• 10+ years of experience in banking, payments, fintech or financial services, with substantial experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst or Product Manager.
• Strong domain knowledge in fraud prevention and/or financial crime, with practical exposure to one or more of payment fraud, scams, account takeover, AML transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC/CDD/EDD or investigations.
• Demonstrated ownership of a product roadmap and backlog from discovery through implementation and optimisation.
• Strong requirements analysis, process mapping, user-story development and acceptance-criteria writing skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to use data and operational insight to make prioritisation and control-design decisions.
• Understanding of APIs, event-driven integrations, data flows and modern banking technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and executive communication skills.
