Volvo Group in Bangalore is seeking a Technical Preparation Engineer to secure production quality in chassis engineering areas and to collaborate with product development teams across ME and engineering functions.
You will work closely with global vehicle engineering and ME sites, ensuring manufacturing requirements are captured during product development and supporting assembly digital mockups and delta T estimations. Occasional travel is required.

The department of Manufacturing Engineering (ME-BLR) is part of a global function that develops product and process solutions, leading to operational excellence. We deliver manufacturing engineering solutions to product projects for different truck product classes within Volvo group. It’s a place where we deliver and learn new technologies from both vehicle engineering and manufacturing engineering. In our team we work in a creative atmosphere with Manufacturing (Operations) and Product Development (Engineering) organizations.

As a Technical Preparation Engineer (TPE) you will secure production quality for the Chassis engineering areas that are designed and developed by product development teams. You will be located at Bangalore office and will be supporting global vehicle engineering and ME sites.
As a TPE, you will closely work with product development teams and secure manufacturing requirements during the product development phase, by providing right information to Engineering and performing assembly verifications.
