Role Description The Technical Manager – Engineering & Product Development is responsible to l ead the engineering function for defence electronics modernization, AI-enabled inspection systems, and future indigenous product development. in the Aerospace and Defence domain. This position is based at Noida. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding R&D initiatives, supervising technical teams, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of projects aligned with performance, safety, and compliance standards. The role involves providing technical support for ongoing programs, reviewing designs and documentation, managing schedules and resources, and driving continuous improvement in engineering processes. The Technical Manager will also contribute to strategic planning, risk assessment, and lifecycle management of products and systems.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, troubleshoot complex issues, and make informed decisions.
• Proven experience in team management, including mentoring engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and promoting accountability.
• Background in technical support, preferably within Aerospace or Defence, with the ability to resolve field and operational challenges effectively.
• Hands-on experience in Research and Development (R&D), including concept development, prototyping, testing, and validation of engineering solutions.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with experience planning, executing, and monitoring engineering and product development projects.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Avionics, Instrumentation, or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience of aerospace and defence standards, certification requirements, and quality management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in the Greater Delhi Area, managing on-site and remote collaboration.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools, systems engineering, or MRO operations is highly beneficial.
