Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Python architect to lead end-to-end development of enterprise solutions in Pune. You will provide technical leadership across the SDLC, design scalable architectures, and engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of software development and at least 2 years of leading technical teams, with expertise in Python frameworks, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong expertise in Python
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools
• At least 8 years of software development experience; posting states 8–12 years
• At least 2 years leading technical teams; posting states 2–3 years
• Mandatory experience in IT Services organizations
• Demonstrated success delivering fixed-cost/fixed-bid software projects
