Job summary

United Techno Info Systems is seeking a Lead for EDI/integration projects in Chennai. The role focuses on leading development, coordinating with onsite and offshore teams, and delivering secure, scalable integration solutions.

You will mentor developers, understand customer problems, and design robust EDI mappings and partner onboarding processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IS or related field.
• 8-12 years as a Lead handling integration projects with EDI data.
• Strong communication and articulation skills with clients.
• Proven onsite and offshore coordination and team management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of EDI/integration projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• Mentor junior integration developers and coordinate client interactions offshore/onsite.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience as a Lead in handling integration projects comprising of EDI data
• Self-starter, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and articulation skills
• Excellent client communication skills, Ability to understand customer problem, technical challenges, design challenges, identify risks and provide mitigation solutions
• Proven onsite and offshore coordination skills
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of developers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams Ability to adapt to new technologies/tools
• Must be adept in understanding complex functional and technical requirements

Technical Skills :

• Strong experience of more than 5 years working in EDI/B2B based tool.
• Expertise in designing ,developing and trouble shooting business processes and maps in any EDI/B2B tool.
• Experience of developing common processes as part of framework for a EDI development project.
• Experience of working on new trading partner onboardings.
• Experience of working with trading partners/business teams for requirements gathering, mapping guides, troubleshooting issues etc.
• Experience of working on designing common schemas/canonicals for different end systems.
• Experience of working on a diverse set of EDI transactions with strong functional knowledge.
• Expertise of working on diverse set of protocols for trading partner setups.
• Ability to test the EDI processes/maps developed end to end.
• Work on performance enhancement of the EDI flows.
• Experience of working in L3/L4 level production support fixes.
• Problem solving/root cause analysis/analytical skills
