Job summary

HCLTech invites experts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM to join as senior developers/lead consultants. You will own technical design, develop interfaces, and drive end-to-end AX/D365 F&SCM implementations. The role requires mentoring teams, leading workshops, and ensuring adherence to Proven Process across projects.

You'll engage with clients, review specifications, and deliver value through robust configurations and integrated solutions within enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in X++ development and Dynamics 365 F&SCM implementations.
• Experience with LCS release, pipeline design, and deployment.
• Azure Logic Apps, Power Apps, DataVerse and Power Automate expertise.
• Strong SQL (T-SQL) skills and data migration workshop experience.
• Experience with Azure Functions and Service Bus desirable.
• End‑to‑end AX/ D365 F&SCM implementations (3+).
• GIT/TFVC version control and structured deployment patterns.
• Proven Microsoft DevOps usage for project deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Excel/Visio skills.

Responsibilities

• Own deliverables and project success, including reports, docs, and test plans.
• Advise customers on best practices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
• Create and review technical specs and integration design docs.
• Organise estimates, configure systems per business needs.
• Design/develop interfaces to/from Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
• Lead technical workshops and client status meetings to drive decisions.
• Mentor developers and consultants; lead small projects unmonitored.
• Ensure Proven Process methodology adherence across projects.
• Lead architecture transitions from as‑is to to‑be solutions.

Job description

Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans); Take personal ownership of the success of deliverables and projects

Adhere to industry and corporate development best practices and ensure that these are adhered to; advise customer on these best practices

Create and review technical specification / integration design documentation

Organise, review and approve Development estimates

Customize and configure the system according to business requirements

Design and develop interfaces from/to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM

Design, develop, review and test customized code Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM

Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements

Facilitate technical workshops and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions

Identify client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement

Manage and deliver small projects independently and can work productively un-monitored

Mentor developersand technical consultants

Ownership of technical specification/integration design documentation and Technical Architecture Documentation

Drive quality and consistency within the company and champion the use of the Proven Process methodology; Ensure methodology is adhered to on all projects

Key Responsibilities

Input into the technical solution design and architecture including clear visibility of transition from as-is solution landscape to to-be solution landscape through delivery and ownership of solution overview diagrams

Ability to lead the approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities; Leads technical elements of integration workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions

Mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience to ensure that the team grows in experience and effectiveness

Comfortable participating and leading pre-sales engagements from a technical perspective

Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements

Ability to work alongside data migration lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities; Leads functional elements of data migration workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions; Owns the overall configuration and gold build of the solution being implemented

Qualifications and Skillsets

Proficient/Skilled at X++ development.

Proficient/skilled in LCS components/Release process / Pipeline design and deployment

Proficient/Skilled at Azure Logic App Development

Proficient/Skilled at Power Apps/DataVerse Development

Proficient/Skilled at Power Automate Development

Proficient/Skilled at T SQL scripting/development

Knowledge and use of Azure functions and service bus would be desirable

Knowledge of Synapse link / Data Fabric updates would be desirable

Experience of log analytics and error management is a prerequisite.

At least 3 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM

Experienced in Version control using GIT and TFVC as well as deployment and branching patterns

Solid Microsoft platform Software or IT experience

Extensive experience as either a developer or integration lead with AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM

Experienced in the use of Microsoft DevOps to manage project deliverables

Excellent verbal and written communication

Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio
