Talent Basket is seeking an experienced Technical Lead for 4G/5G L3 protocol development in Bengaluru. The role requires 12+ years of hands-on experience with 4G/5G L3 software and strong command of RRC and control-plane protocols.

You will lead complex software delivery, perform root-cause analysis, and guide multi-disciplinary teams to ensure robust protocol implementations. You should be proficient in C/C++, Python, Linux, multi-threading, and state-machine design, with hands-on protocol

• 12+ years of hands-on 4G/5G L3 software development experience.
• Strong expertise in RRC and LTE/5G control-plane protocols – S1AP, X2AP, NGAP, F1AP, E1AP, and XnAP.
• Deep knowledge of 3GPP LTE (36-series) and 5G NR (38-series) specifications.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux, multi-threading, and state-machine design.
• Expertise in mobility management, handovers, EN-DC/NR-DC, cell reselection, and RLF troubleshooting.
• Experience in technical leadership, root-cause analysis, and large-scale software delivery.
• Hands-on protocol trace analysis using Wireshark.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in 4G LTE/5G NR Layer 3 (L3) protocol software development and technical leadership.

Mandatory Skills:

12+ years of hands-on 4G/5G L3 software development experience.

Strong expertise in RRC and LTE/5G control-plane protocols – S1AP, X2AP, NGAP, F1AP, E1AP, and XnAP.

Deep knowledge of 3GPP LTE (36-series) and 5G NR (38-series) specifications.

Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux, multi-threading, and state-machine design.

Expertise in mobility management, handovers, EN-DC/NR-DC, cell reselection, and RLF troubleshooting.
