Job summary

BHTC India in Pune is seeking a Software Architect for the core software team to design architecture for display and control elements in the vehicle interior.

You will be the central contact for technical issues, develop software requirements, coordinate with OEMs, and ensure quality guidelines are followed while exploring new technologies for future architectures. Proficiency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering) or equivalent training
• Practical embedded software development or software architecture experience
• Strong C programming knowledge; UML modeling; AUTOSAR/A-SPICE advantageous
• Open, communicative team player with quality focus and analytical skills
• Fluent in German and English

Job Tasks

• As a Software Architect, you are part of the core software team and are responsible for the software architecture for complex and innovative display and control elements in the vehicle interior.

• In your role as the central contact person for technical issues within the software project team, you will develop the software requirements, taking standards, tools, and processes into account.
• With your expertise, you will represent the technical software content to the customer (OEM) and coordinate software requirements and change requests within the project team.
• In addition, you will adhere to BHTC quality guidelines throughout the entire development process.
• You will monitor the development of new software technologies and consider them when designing future architectures.
• Required Qualification

• Qualifications: Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering, or similar) or completed technical training with relevant professional experience.
• Experience: Practical experience in the field of embedded software development and/or in the field of Software architectures, preferably in the automotive sector
• Skills: Solid knowledge of embedded systems software development using the C programming language; object-oriented methods such as UML modeling, experience with AUTOSAR and A-SPICE are advantageous
• Personality: Open and communicative personality, team player, structured and goal-oriented working style, high quality awareness, analytical skills
• Languages: Fluent written and spoken German and English
