Job summary

BHTC India is seeking a Software Architect to lead the software architecture for display and control elements inside vehicles. You will be the central technical contact for the project team, shaping software requirements and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

You will present technical content to the customer (OEM), coordinate requirements and change requests, and evaluate new technologies to influence future architectures, in a hybrid setup with some work-from-home days.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software or software architecture.
• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong C programming and embedded systems knowledge.
• Proficient in UML modelling; familiarity with AUTOSAR and A-SPICE is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central technical contact within the software project team and develop software requirements.
• Represent technical software content to the customer (OEM) and coordinate requirements and change requests.
• Adhere to BHTC quality guidelines throughout the development process.
• Monitor new software technologies and influence future architecture decisions.

*Job Tasks

As a Software Architect, you are part of the core software team and are responsible for the software architecture for complex and innovative display and control elements in the vehicle interior.

• In your role as the central contact person for technical issues within the software project team, you will develop the software requirements, taking standards, tools, and processes into account.
• With your expertise, you will represent the technical software content to the customer (OEM) and coordinate software requirements and change requests within the project team.
• In addition, you will adhere to BHTC quality guidelines throughout the entire development process.
• You will monitor the development of new software technologies and consider them when designing future architectures.

*Required Qualification

Experience - 10+Years

• Qualifications: Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering, or similar) or completed technical training with relevant professional experience.
• Experience: Practical experience in the field of embedded software development and/or in the field of Software architectures, preferably in the automotive sector
• Skills: Solid knowledge of embedded systems software development using the C programming language; object-oriented methods such as UML modeling, experience with AUTOSAR and A-SPICE are advantageous
• Personality: Open and communicative personality, team player, structured and goal-oriented working style, high quality awareness, analytical skills
• Languages: Fluent written and spoken German and English
