Job summary

BHTC India in Pune seeks an experienced embedded engineer with 6+ years in automotive software. You will work on AUTOSAR-based development for ECUs, focusing on BSW, RTE, SWC integration and MCAL drivers.

The role requires hands-on experience with Davinci Developer/ Configurator, EB Tresos, Geny, Canoe, and strong debugging and timing analysis skills. Collaboration across teams to ensure robust hardware-software integration is essential.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics.
• 6+ years of embedded development experience.
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR, BSW, RTE, SWC.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, and diagnostics (UDS/K-line).
• Hands-on with AUTOSAR toolchains (Davinci Dev/Config Pro, EB Tresos, Geny, Canoe).
• Experience with 8/16/32-bit MCUs; Renesas RH850 added advantage.
• Experience in HW schematic & signal catalog.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for automotive ECUs using AUTOSAR.
• Configure and integrate MCAL drivers and BSW modules.
• Work with CAN/LIN diagnostics and communication stacks.
• Perform tracing and timing analysis; debug and optimize.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate vector stack and RTE/OS.
• Prepare build environment and debugging setup.
• Support integration testing and validation.

Job Tasks

• 6+ Years of experience & passion/affinity in the field of embedded development.
• Strong Embedded Software and AUTOSAR knowledge on automotive control units.
• Hands on exp. of AUTOSAR tool chains like Davinci Developer, DaVinci Configurator Pro, EBTresos, Geny, and Canoe.
• Advanced knowledge in the area of compilers, debuggers/debugging
• Tracing / Timing Analysiss
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and concepts - BSW, RTE and SWC.
• Good to have designing & Integration experience of SWC.
• Must be able to integrate vector stack, configuration of RTE, OS and Understanding of System/ECU Extract and generation phases.
• Must have knowledge of configuration and implementation of various SW BSW modules (Com/Memory/Watchdog/ IO/ Diagnostic Stack etc.).
• Must have knowledge of configuration and implementation MCAL drivers (DIO/ADC /I2C/EEPROM/PWM/CAN/LIN etc.).
• Hands on experience on 8bit, 16bit and 32bit microcontrollers. Experience with Renesas RH850 controller will be an added advantage.

• Hands on experience on Automotive Communication Protocol like CAN, LIN and Diagnostics (UDS/K-line). Geny, CANdela, ODX etc.
• Should know Software Development life cycle. Experience with Automotive Software development, integration and test tools.
• Working knowledge of Device Driver programming of microcontroller of 8bit, 16bit and 32bit microcontroller. Hands on experience on basic Software handling
• Good understanding of Hardware schematic & signal catalogue
• Experience on Microcontroller in initial configuration and CPU clock settings.
• Experience on Software Modules integration and integration testing.
• Hands on experience on standard Architectural handling
• Experience in creating batch files for build environment, compilation and debugging environment setting (GNU environment).
• Knowledge on Communication protocol: CAN, LIN, RS232, I2C, SPI, usage of Communication tools like Canoe, can analyzer
