Job summary

Alp Talent Solutions Delhi seeks a Technical Head to drive the organization's technical and business objectives in Odisha. You will lead client engagements, provide technical leadership across infrastructure sectors, and support business development initiatives with state government entities.

The role requires a sector-agnostic professional with 10+ years of infrastructure consulting or project management, proven government collaboration, and strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure consulting, engineering consultancy or project management.
• Proven experience working with State Government departments, PSUs, Urban Local Bodies or Development Authorities.
• Strong understanding of the state's infrastructure ecosystem and government functioning.
• Experience across multiple infrastructure sectors such as Water, Urban Infrastructure, Transport, Buildings, Renewable Energy or Industrial Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's technical and consulting operations within the assigned state across multiple infrastructure sectors.
• Provide technical oversight across ongoing projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Sector Heads and project teams to mobilize resources and ensure effective project execution.
• Represent the organization in meetings, technical discussions, conferences and stakeholder consultations within the state.
• Strengthen the organization's presence and credibility by fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.

Role Overview

The Technical Head will be responsible for driving the organization's technical and business objectives within the assigned state. The role involves leading client engagements, providing technical leadership across infrastructure sectors, supporting business development initiatives, monitoring project delivery, and establishing the organization as a trusted consulting partner with Government departments and agencies. The position requires a sector-agnostic professional with extensive consulting experience and a strong understanding of the state's infrastructure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's technical and consulting operations within the assigned state across multiple infrastructure sectors.
• Provide technical oversight across ongoing projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Sector Heads and project teams to mobilize resources and ensure effective project execution.
• Represent the organization in meetings, technical discussions, conferences and stakeholder consultations within the state.
• Strengthen the organization's presence and credibility by fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
• Shall be active on social media platforms like LinkedIn.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure consulting, engineering consultancy or project management.
• Proven experience working with State Government departments, PSUs, Urban Local Bodies or Development Authorities.
• Strong understanding of the state's infrastructure ecosystem and government functioning.
• Experience across multiple infrastructure sectors such as Water, Urban Infrastructure, Transport, Buildings, Renewable Energy or Industrial Infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong networking ability with a proven track record of developing client relationships and supporting business growth.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across the organization.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in reputed infrastructure consulting organizations such as Big 4, Egis, AECOM, Tata Consulting Engineers, SMEC, Stantec, SYSTRA, RITES, Aarvee Associates or similar organizations will be preferred.
