Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Anaplan Model Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Anaplan modeling and performance optimization with a deep understanding of business processes, allowing them to design, build, and implement effective Anaplan solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creation and refinement of Anaplan models to meet the needs of finance and supply chain functions.
Engage with stakeholders in finance, operations, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable Anaplan solutions.
Continuously improve and expand existing models to incorporate evolving business requirements and support organizational growth.
Serve as the in-house Anaplan expert, offering training, guidance, and support to end-users across the organization.
Execute data integration and process automation tasks to maintain and enhance the platform’s alignment with changing business needs.
Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize and streamline financial and supply chain planning processes, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
Define and govern best practices for Anaplan model design, such as managing the use of sparsity, minimizing circular references, and optimizing the size of modules and lists.
Design models for maximum performance.
Define and own the Integration strategy from/to various systems to/from Anaplan.
Regularly review and optimize Anaplan models for performance and areas of improvement.
Design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and interfaces in Anaplan that meet the needs of end users and provide actionable insights.
Document model designs, business rules, and key processes for future reference.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior model builders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Engineering degree in computer science, data science, IT or a related field.
Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect with a history of successful end-to-end Anaplan solution implementations.
Strong understanding of supply chain and financial planning business processes.
Advanced proficiency in Anaplan model building, including dashboard design, data integration, and multi-dimensional planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into actionable Anaplan models.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and functionality.
Advanced Anaplan Model Builder certifications or participation in Anaplan's Advanced Model Performance Optimization Training is a plus.
Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) is a must.
