Job summary

Nextracker in Hyderabad seeks a Project Engineer to develop AutoCAD layouts for solar plants and support design through Civil-3D slope analysis and BOM preparation. You will collaborate with design engineers to ensure accurate layouts and compliant drawings across global projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CAD detailing in construction, with AutoCAD 2D proficiency and strong communication. BE/BTech in Civil/Mechanical is preferred and familiarity with solar projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Through knowledge of AutoCAD 2D commands or any other equivalent CAD environment.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prepare structural part drawings as per standards
• At least 3+ years of experience in CAD detailing in construction industry.
• Experience in solar industry is preferred but not compulsory
• Good knowledge on drafting and detailing standards
• Very good communication skills

The candidate would be working on utility scale solar PV projects located around the globe, right from the development stage to construction support. Candidate will also be working with other design engineers & structural engineers to propose the best possible project design.
