Strong CAD skills and FEA capability are essential. Required BE in mechanical/structural engineering with 3–7 years of relevant industrial design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural support systems, special components, and application-based engineering systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings and BOMs.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing, and technical documentation.
• Support production in resolving fabrication issues and optimize drawings.
• Provide site and installation coordination and technical support when required.

TECHNICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Position Summary

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and innovative Technical Design Engineer responsible for design development, engineering calculations, manufacturing drawings, technical coordination, and optimization of industrial special-purpose engineering systems. The role involves close coordination with production and project execution teams to ensure efficient and manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities

Design Engineering

• Design and develop:
  • Structural support systems
  • Special components
  • Application-based engineering systems
• Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Develop optimized and manufacturable design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
• Should be capable at conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Technical Activities

• Perform engineering and load calculations.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
• Prepare technical specifications and design reports.
• Coordinate prototype development and testing activities.

Production Coordination

• Support the production team in resolving fabrication and manufacturing issues.
• Modify and optimize drawings based on manufacturing feasibility and site requirements.
• Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.

Site Coordination

• Review site measurements and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with project execution and installation teams.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities when required.

Software Knowledge

• BE in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering

Experience

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design, or special-purpose engineering systems.
