Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering (must-have).
• 2–7 years of relevant industrial design engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Inventor.
• Ability to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Skills in structural design, fabrication, load calculations, BOM prep, technical docs, and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, coordination, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural support systems, components, and engineering systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, assemblies, and fabrication details.
• Develop optimized, manufacturable designs per specs and project needs.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as needed.
• Perform engineering and load calculations.
• Develop BOMs and prepare technical specs and design reports.
• Coordinate prototype development and testing activities.
• Support production in resolving fabrication/manufacturing issues.
• Modify and optimize drawings based on feasibility and site requirements.
• Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth design execution.
• Review site measurements and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with project execution and installation teams.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural support systems, special components, and application-based engineering systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
• Develop optimized and manufacturable design solutions that comply with technical specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as needed.
• Perform engineering and load calculations.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and prepare technical specifications and design reports.
