Fujitsu in Pune, India seeks a Technical Consultant specialized in Kintana/Open Text PPM and shell scripting to implement and optimize enterprise PPM workflows.
You will configure core PPM modules, develop custom workflows and reports, and integrate OpenText PPM with Jira/Workday. The role requires 5–7+ years of hands-on experience, strong SQL/Java skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Hybrid shift supports US timing.
Mandatory Skills- Kintana/Open Text PPM & Shell Scripting (Bash / Ksh)
Platform Configuration: Configure and optimize core PPM modules including Demand Management, Time Management, Resource Management, and Financial Management. [
Customization & Development: Design and develop custom workflows, portlets, dashboards, and reports to meet enterprise governance needs.
System Integration: Build and maintain integration solutions connecting OpenText PPM with external enterprise systems (such as Jira or Workday) using APIs and web services.
Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform system upgrades, patch management, performance tuning, and routine troubleshooting.
User Support: Provide L3 technical support, resolve system defects, and assist internal teams with best-practice adoption.
OS and Infrastructure - Linux/Unix or Windows server administration (whichever the Kintana server runs on)
Basic networking (ports, firewalls, DNS, load balancers)
Database -Oracle/SQL Server basics:
Writing SQL for troubleshooting (e.g., checking request status, logs)
Backup and recovery processes (usually DBAs own this, but you should understand impact)
Ability to: Read existing deployment scripts
Debug them when migrations fail
Make small changes safely (with proper approvals)
Application Server / Middleware Knowledge - Understanding of how your target applications are structured:
Familiarity with: WebLogic/WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat logs and deployment processes
How configuration is stored and migrated
Experience: 5 to 7+ years of hands‑on experience administering, developing, or consulting on OpenText PPM (formerly Micro Focus / HP PPM).
Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and REST/SOAP APIs for custom reporting and integrations.
Functional Knowledge: Solid understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) methodologies, resource allocation, financial tracking, and demand intake workflows.
Soft Skills: Excellent requirement-gathering and communication skills to collaborate with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams.
