Job summary

• Experience collaborating across R&D, production, QA and regulatory teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CTO with day-to-day activities, MIS, reports and meeting coordination.
• Coordinate with plants for R&D trials, product development and scale-up.
• Track project timelines, deliverables and action points with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain project trackers, trial reports, minutes and technical documents.
• Support in new product development, lab and plant trials and data collection.
• Participate in departmental reviews and special assignments.

Working days - Monday - Friday

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the CTO in day-to-day activities, assignments, project monitoring, preparation of MIS, reports, presentations, and coordination of meetings.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants for R&D trials, product development, process improvement, scale-up activities, sample movement, and follow-up on trial results and implementation.
• Liaise with R&D, Production, QC, QA, Purchase, Stores, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing teams to ensure timely information sharing and closure of pending activities.
• Track R&D projects, development activities, timelines, deliverables, and action points, ensuring timely follow-up with concerned team members.
• Maintain R&D project trackers, trial reports, meeting minutes, technical documents, product specifications, and departmental MIS.
• Assist in coordinating new product development, product improvement, laboratory and plant trials, sample evaluation, and collection of technical and process-related data.
• Support the CTO in departmental reviews, technical discussions, special assignments, and other management-related activities.
• Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of product formulations, technical information, and company-related data.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 37 years of experience in R&D, technical coordination, or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in aroma chemicals, specialty chemicals, fragrance, or related chemical industries will be preferred.
