Job summary

AGDATA, LP is seeking a senior software architect/engineer to design and deliver cloud-native, enterprise-scale solutions in India. You will work on .NET 6/ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Angular and ReactJS, and build distributed systems with microservices and serverless patterns.

You will drive Azure-based architectures, migrations, and performance optimization while mentoring junior engineers and guiding technology choices for the team.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of software development experience with web, SaaS, cloud, and enterprise apps.
• Deep hands-on with Microsoft stack: .NET 6/ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Windows Services, MSSQL.
• Frontend experience: Angular and ReactJS.
• Distributed systems design with RESTful APIs, SOA, microservices, AMQP, and serverless.
• Strong Azure experience: App Services, Container Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, API Management.
• Cloud-native solutions, including migration, scalability, reliability, security, observability, performance, cost optimization.
• Relational and non-relational DBs: MSSQL, RavenDB, MongoDB; complex data relationships.
• Test automation, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience with Dapr and .NET Aspire for distributed orchestration, sidecars, and local development.
• Document architecture artifacts; familiarity with the C4 model and textual DSL.
• Ability to evaluate tools and processes to improve platform quality and engineering effectiveness.
• Strong leadership, communication, and architecture engagement; mentor and guide junior engineers.

• Deep hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET 6/ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Windows Services, and MSSQL.


• Proven experience with front-end technologies such as Angular and ReactJS.


• Strong experience designing distributed systems using RESTful APIs, SOA, microservices, AMQP, and serverless architecture.


• Strong Azure experience, including services such as App Services, Container Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and API Management.


• Experience building cloud-native solutions, including cloud migration strategies, scalability, reliability, security, observability, performance, and cost optimization.


• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MSSQL and document databases such as RavenDB or MongoDB, with the ability to understand complex data relationships.


• Experience with test automation, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.


• Experience with Dapr and .NET Aspire for distributed application orchestration, sidecar configuration, and local development workflows.


• Experience documenting architecture artifacts; familiarity with the C4 model and textual DSL is preferred.


• Ability to evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes that improve platform quality and engineering effectiveness.


• Strong leadership, communication, and architecture engagement skills, with the ability to guide teams and influence technical direction.
