Job summary

UST invites senior software leaders to architect and deliver large-scale microservices in a cloud-first environment. You will shape software designs, enforce best practices, and guide teams in building resilient services with RESTful APIs.

Deep expertise in Azure, Docker, Git, and CI/CD is essential, as is the ability to mentor peers and manage complex tasks in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of demonstrable development experience building software.
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures and design patterns.
• Hands-on with AI tooling such as Co-pilot and related guidance.

Job description

• Proficiency with SOLID Principals and Design Patterns.


• Hands on experience on the Usage AI tools like Co-pilot, Claude and guide team on usage of the same.


• Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture, building, deploying, and managing microservices-based systems.


• Experience working with RESTful APIs and Web services.


• Familiarity with Docker and containerization for deploying microservices.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).


• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure etc.


• Proficiency in working with relational databases (SQL Server)


• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and caching solutions (Redis).


• Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, Azure AD).


• Strong experience with Git and source code management practices.


• Good to have - Experience with Grafana, ArgoCD observability tools.
