Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of R2R experience for a Senior R2R role in Bangalore. You will oversee GL, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and monthly close, ensuring US GAAP and IFRS compliance, with a focus on accuracy and governance.

The position offers a 5-day work week, immediate joiners, and a two-way cab facility. Candidates with additional CMA/B.Com/M.Com are preferred and readiness to lead process improvements across global finance teams.

Qualifications

• CA‑qualified with 10+ years of R2R experience required; immediate joiners preferred.
• Additional qualification in B.Com, M.Com, or CMA preferred.
• Location: Bangalore; 5-day work week; two‑way cab facility provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee General Ledger (GL) accounting activities.
• Handle Intercompany (IC) accounting and reconciliations.
• Manage Fixed Assets (FA) accounting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS and internal policies.
• Support financial controllership activities and governance requirements.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and substantiation.
• Conduct flux analysis and variance reporting.
• Improve close cycle efficiency through reporting optimization.
• Collaborate with global finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance; drive standardization and process improvements.

Qualification

• Chartered Accountant ( Qualified CA ) - Mandatory
• Additional qualification in B.Com, M.Com, or CMA preferred

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) operations
• Ideal experience range: 12-15 years

Key Responsibilities

Core Financial Accounting & Controllership

• Manage and oversee General Ledger (GL) accounting activities.
• Handle Intercompany (IC) accounting and reconciliations.
• Manage Fixed Assets (FA) accounting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies.
• Support financial controllership activities and governance requirements.

Month-End Close & Reporting

• Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations and account substantiation.
• Conduct Flux Analysis and variance reporting.
• Improve close cycle efficiency through reporting optimization and process enhancements.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with global finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
