Job summary

Tata Communications is seeking a software development professional to drive design, development, testing, debugging and implementation of software applications in support of end users. This is an operational role focused on day-to-day software delivery and support.

You will participate in design discussions, translate requirements into high-quality code across the full SDLC, and contribute to infrastructure and deployment planning.

Qualifications

• Expert code and test case writing skills.
• Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.
• Understand concepts of software engineering.
• Experience with software design, coding, testing and development.
• Knowledge and/or experience in scrum/Agile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing discussions, planning meetings.
• Developing the new application/software based on the business requirements.

• Build and maintain operational tools for testing, deployment, monitoring, and analysis.

• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Involve with Product Owners and teams in story grooming, backlog maintenance and prioritization and planning.
• Prepare Test Strategies and Test Design
• Identify tools and approach for automated testing.
• Generate Test reports and based on the features, modules, severity, and releases based.
