Job summary

Tata Communications is seeking an IT operations professional to oversee integration of new platforms with existing IT systems and manage IT infrastructure requiring expertise in Windows and Linux servers, NMS/EMS, and wireless networks.

You will develop automated scripts, support NOC/Field teams, and ensure security practices in coordination with the IT security team. Strong programming and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT integration and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NMS/EMS and wireless access networks.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (SNMP, TR69, Netconf, REST API).
• Experience with scripting and automation for NOC/Field operations.

Major Responsibilities

• The primary role is to oversee and maintain all aspects of IT Integration of New platforms with various IT systems in collaboration with CFT and maintain IT infrastructure ( Maintaining networks, servers, security programs and systems.)
• Testing of New /Existing Wireless access platforms- NMS, NBI testing, AAA, Syslog, provisioning testing etc
• Evaluation of KPIs
• Development of effective automated Scripts & Monitoring Tools for day to day operations of NOC & Field team.
• Support to operation teams – access related issues, NMS, AAA server related supports etc.
• Ability to work with computer systems (window, linux etc) and understanding of programming languages.
• Comply to TCL’s security policy, and conduct VAPT in coordination with IT security team.

Key Skills

• Good understanding of NMS/EMS
• Sound understanding about Wireless access networks.

• Working knowledge of protocols like SNMP, TR69, Netconf, Rest API
• Good understanding of DBMS like SQL/MySQL, MariaDB etc
• Knowledge of AAA like freeradius, Dalo Radius etc.
• Knowledge of Website development , hosting with Apache on Linux servers (HTML, Python, JAVAScript)
• Database maintenance includes scaling, purging, optimization, tunning.
• Identify the security risk and mitigate the vulnerabilities in Devices and Servers.
• APP support and maintenance includes corrective maintenance, bug fixes, security updated.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a range of people.
