PTC in India seeks a hands-on Technical Lead for Production Support & Application Development with 5+ years of experience to troubleshoot production issues and deliver enterprise features. You will work with development, QA, support, product, and business teams to ensure stable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, production support, application support, or production engineering.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend application development.
• Good understanding of SQL, relational databases, query troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Experience troubleshooting application, API, database, integration, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Exposure to Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, Agile/DevOps practices, and release support.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and basic understanding of containers or cloud-hosted applications.

Responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across applications, APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to permanent fixes to reduce recurring incidents.
• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise application features, services, and integrations.
• Analyze logs, monitoring alerts, database issues, and system behavior to identify and resolve defects.
• Support deployment, release validation, post‑release checks, and operational stability activities.
• Collaborate with development, QA, support, product, and business teams to ensure timely issue resolution and smooth delivery.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and knowledge articles.

Technical Lead – Production Support & Application Development

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on technical professional with 5+ years of experience in production support and application development for enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, contribute to application enhancements, and work closely with development, QA, support, product, and business teams.

Good-to-have Skills

• Experience with Salesforce integrations, CRM platforms, licensing, entitlement, order management, subscription, or customer‑facing business applications.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, microservices, messaging platforms, API management, Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Application Insights, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar platforms.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be a practical, hands‑on engineer with strong debugging skills, an ownership mindset, and the ability to balance production stability with development delivery. They should communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and be willing to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes.
