Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in data governance, cataloging, classification and lineage solutions.
• Strong experience integrating Purview with Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).
• Exposure to regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA where applicable) and data privacy.
• Experience designing pipelines, datasets, dataflows, and monitoring in Azure.
• Ability to create and maintain data governance policies and business glossary alignment.

8-10 Years

• 1. Design and implement data governance, cataloging, classification, and lineage solutions.
• 2. Configure and manage data discovery, scanning, and metadata management across diverse data sources.
• 3. Define and enforce data classification, sensitivity labels, and policy management.
• 4. Implement data lineage tracking and business glossary alignment.
• 5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA where applicable).
• 6. Integrate Purview with Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, etc.).
• 7. Experience in MS Fabric, Azure Data factory, Azure Storage Services, Azure SQL, ETL
• 8. Create Pipelines, datasets, dataflows, Integration runtimes and monitoring Pipelines and trigger runs
• 9. Extract Transformation and Load Data from source system and processing the data in MS Fabric
• 10. Prepare DB Design Documents for the user story based on the client requirement
• 11. Work with the development team to create database structure, queries and used triggers
• 12. Extensive experience in Microsoft Cloud solutions, i.e., Designing, Developing, and Testing Technologies
• 13. Create SQL scripts to perform complex queries
• 14. Data Migration pipeline to Azure cloud (Azure SQL).
• 15. Database migration from on-prem SQL server to Azure Dev Environment by usingAzure DMS and Data Migration Assistant
• 16. Lift and Shift of the Development Server to Production Server
• 17. Data governance in Azure
