Job summary

YASH Technologies is hiring experienced Microsoft Purview professionals to design and implement data governance, cataloging, and lineage solutions across Azure data services. The role requires 8-10 years of hands-on expertise with Purview, data discovery, and policy management in a cloud environment.

Applicants should have experience migrating data to Azure, working with MS Fabric and Azure Data Factory, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in data governance and cloud data platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Purview and Azure data services.
• Experience with data discovery, metadata management, and policy enforcement.
• Knowledge of GDPR/ HIPAA compliance where applicable.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and SQL scripting.
• Experience migrating data to Azure and using DMS / Data Migration Assistant.
• Experience with MS Fabric and Azure Data Factory.

8-10 Years

• Design and implement data governance, cataloging, classification, and lineage solutions.


• Configure and manage data discovery, scanning, and metadata management across diverse data sources.


• Define and enforce data classification, sensitivity labels, and policy management.


• Implement data lineage tracking and business glossary alignment.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA where applicable).


• Integrate Purview with Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, etc.).


• Experience in MS Fabric, Azure Data factory, Azure Storage Services, Azure SQL, ETL


• Create Pipelines, datasets, dataflows, Integration runtimes and monitoring Pipelines and trigger runs


• Extract Transformation and Load Data from source system and processing the data in MS Fabric


• Prepare DB Design Documents for the user story based on the client requirement


• Work with the development team to create database structure, queries and used triggers


• Extensive experience in Microsoft Cloud solutions, i.e., Designing, Developing, and Testing Technologies


• Create SQL scripts to perform complex queries


• Data Migration pipeline to Azure cloud (Azure SQL).


• Database migration from on-prem SQL server to Azure Dev Environment by using Azure DMS and Data Migration Assistant


• Lift and Shift of the Development Server to Production Server


• Data governance in Azure
