Job summary

ZEISS India is headquartered in Bengaluru and seeks a Tech Lead with hands-on experience in .NET, including C#, WPF, REST APIs and distributed systems. You will lead development teams, architect solutions, and ensure scalable, high-performance software delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of hands-on experience in .NET technologies, with strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, SQL Server, and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in .NET technologies including C#, WPF, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Event-driven Architecture, Distributed Systems, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices to ensure high-quality software development.
• Drive architectural decisions and system design, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, MQTT-based Event-driven architectures, and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, SOLID principles, and database design.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of C++ would be a valuable addition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, QA, and DevOps, to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Drive Agile development methodologies, including Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Oversee code quality, debugging, performance tuning, and technical debt management.
• Experience in Windows Applications, Web Services, Web API development, and cloud-based deployments (Azure/AWS).
• Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Ensure seamless integration of components, efficient data flow, and system reliability.
• Proactively identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to enhance team productivity and software quality.

We are seeking a Tech Lead – Hands on Project experience in .NET development, specializing in WPF and distributed systems.
