Job summary

HDFC Bank is seeking a Sr. Tech Analyst for EA Project Mgmt in the Tech & Digital unit. You will evaluate new technologies, ensure change and release processes, and handle critical security incidents with root-cause analysis.

Candidate should have 8–11 years of banking IT experience, strong skills in Oracle/SQL, WebLogic, Linux, and Java, plus team leadership abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Banking exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Evaluate new technologies for application growth and enhancements.

Ensure change and release processes are followed.

Handle critical security incidents and root cause analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Review system performance, identify bottlenecks, evaluate new technologies.
• Engage incident management, resolve problems, address security incidents.
• Manage inventory, CMDB, augment capacity.
• Participate in complex projects, track invoices, provide data.
• Implement ITPP, manage DB support renewal, implement baselines.
• Monitor and tune performance (Weblogic, Oracle DB, Linux OS).
• Project management, review architecture, create knowledge base, support UAT.
• Manage vulnerability fixes and patch management.
• Document, review vendor performance, escalate issues, initiate SIPs.
• Collaborate with vendors for solutions, negotiations, agreement signoffs.
• Ensure IT policy, process, audit compliance (RBI, SoX).
• Remediate audit observations, ensure hygiene, review KPIs.
• Drive end-to-end planning and execution of technology projects.
