Job summary

IFTAS - Indian Financial Technology & Allied Services is seeking a highly experienced candidate to perform requirement analysis, capture business requirements and bridge the gap between IT and business teams. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and extensive experience with project management tools. Knowledge in the PL SQL, Java, and AIX environments is crucial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Qualifications

Overview

Summary: Perform requirement analysis, capture business requirements, understanding technical and functional specifications in detail. Should act to bridge the gap between IT and business teams. The candidate will be responsible for Review and analyis of system specifications across various projects in SFMS, NEFT, RTGS and otherPayment and Settlement Systems applications. Application assessment and further evolution on continuous basis. Assess existing product, propose areas of improvement such as in technical design, functional design, conduct competitive analysis ofsimilar products and segments. Work with support team members across different teams and IT vendors. Work with functional and technical teams to finalize project scope, software development design and workflow design. Integrate the updated specifications into the proposed systems architecture and ensure compatibility of systems and software designs. Should be able to guide the team members and resolve issues on a proactive basis. Provide periodic updates, executive reporting on project status, High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), etc. Review development and testing deliverables to ensure the completeness of the requirements including implementation of the same. Monitor lifecycle of the project and evaluate the stakeholders reviews and work on requirements. Ability to review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Assist technical team to identify all the limitations and challenges, resolve issues, enable the system for smooth workflow. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Good wriƩen and verbal communication skills are must for this position.

Experience

• Minimum of 15+ Years’ experience.
• Relevant experience of 10+ years in Business requirement mapping, quality analysis and software development lifecycle. - Mandatory
• Experience in working in a fast paced, high expectation 24x365 environment.
• Experience in banking domain with specific work experience in Payment Systems - Mandatory.
• Candidate should have hands on work experience in NEFT, RTGS and trade messages like LC and BG's and other messaging stanadard MT15022, ISO20022. - Desirable
• Knowledge on banking domain is mandatory.
• Candidate should have experience on software applications like IBM MQ, Oracle DB, Basic Java, Apache Tomcat, Windows, any one of theUNIX environments (AIX/RHEL), Basics of Network concepts and Basics of PKI framework.
• Experience MS Project, Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills - Mandatory

Knowledge

• Work Experience in NEFT/RTGS systems - Mandatory
• Knowledge on API and Microservices, various communication protocol, middleware technologies - Mandatory
• PMP certification added advantage
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Understanding and Executing of the SQL Statements and Basics of Java - Mandatory
• Candidate should have the good understanding of databases
• Payments Domain Knowledge for domestic and internation market would be must - Mandatory
• Understanding of the regulatory and competitive impacts on Payments
• Ability to work independently and manage ones’ time
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
