Job summary

PI Industries Ltd in Udaipur seeks a Team Member – Site Utilities to ensure continuous operation of R&D buildings, facilities and utilities, and to perform mechanical maintenance of the site. You will support infrastructure projects as needed and help keep laboratories running smoothly.

Key duties include managing maintenance within time frames, inputting data in SAP, supporting CAPEX and revenue budgeting, and coaching the facilities team to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed university.
5-7 years of maintenance and utility experience in the chemical industry.
Experience with HVAC, Chiller, Boiler, RO, compressors and related utility equipment.
SAP data entry / SAP programming experience.

Responsibilities

To ensure that mechanical maintenance of the site is carried out within time frame.
To ensure that utility maintenance of the site is carried out within time frame.
To ensure that Capex related project are carried out within the the time frame.
To prepare Capex and revenue budget and to monitor it.
To define job responsibility to the associate.
Support to Team Leader – Site Utilities with focus on Personnel, Target setting, development of strength, building of knowhow, feedback and coaching
To ensure that all utilities requirement are given to Pilot plant, Kilo lab and R&D LAB.
To ensure all required datas are feed in SAP.
To ensure that PM & breakdown are carried out within the schedule.
To ensure meet out of ISO requirement
Well versed with operation & maintenance of utility equipments like HVAC, Chiller, Boiler, RO, Compressors, Thermic Fluid etc
Well versed with maintenance of Glass Lined Reactors, ANF, Centrifuge, Pumps, Glass assemblies, Vacuum Pumps, Ejectors etc
SAP programming
Contribute to budget proposals
Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility
Business relationship with the facilities and ETF team
Ensure smooth working of the department to maintain high morale of the workforce
Continuously improve processes to ensure quality and efficiency
Set goals for and review performance of facilities team members, consider customer feedback for performance management
Recognise and reward high performers
Identify development needs of the team and act to address the same
Implement initiatives to build desired culture in facilities team and along interfaces

Position Purpose

The role holder will make sure the R&D buildings, facilities and utilities are operational at all times enabling uninterrupted research & development processes in the laboratories. The role holder will also be responsible for mechanical maintenance of the site. The incumbent will also be involved in infrastructural projects as and when required.
