Job summary

Lakshmi Life Sciences Limited in India seeks a Buy/Materials Planner to ensure on-time delivery of Industrial Automation products by coordinating work order releases, materials availability, and ECN changes. You will monitor BOM updates, align procurement with project schedules, and drive early risk mitigation to keep production on track.

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure on-time delivery of Industrial Automation products by effectively coordinating work order releases for assembly and in-house parts, ensuring timely material availability, implementing ECN changes, and closely following up on development items. The role also involves timely release of purchase indents for bought-out parts and ensuring accurate product mapping to support smooth and efficient operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Routing (BOM, Plan time & process) for Automation Projects


• Work order generation (Automation) based on marketing schedule


• Purchase request creation for projects (Automation)


• System shortage report preparation for Automation projects


• Raw material plan follow-up


• Make/Buy decisions for new product or Automation project


• Development items follow up for Automation Load allocation for machine shop, Sheetmetal based on priorities


• Regular monitoring & follow-up of In-house - M/C shop, Sheet metal & Powder coating for Automation projects


• Co-ordination with SCM, Stores, IA assembly, TA Assembly, Manufacturing, Design, Project Management, Quality, CSD & Marketing department For FG Completion


• Work Order Monitoring & Control - IA, NCR Parts


• Updating the BOM changes in Work order based on ECN


• Achieve ON time delivery
