Job summary

Six Senses Vana in Dehradun, India, is seeking an F&B Team Member to uphold our standards of service, hospitality and wellbeing. You will work within luxury hotel operations, ensuring guest comfort and flawless day-to-day tasks.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with hospitality exposure, fluent English, and relevant hotel or resort experience. Alcohol awareness or food service permits are preferred; training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years secretarial experience at a resort, hotel or similar setting.
• Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and callers, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
• Operate office equipment.
• Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
• Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
• Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B Day to day activities.
• Maintain efficient administration within the department by preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

As F&B Team Member, you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

Qualifications

To execute the position of F&B Team Member, you must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years secretarial experience at a resort, hotel or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.

• Fluent in English.
