Job summary

Six Senses Vana in India is seeking an F&B Team Member to support a luxury hotel operation with a strong focus on guest service and brand standards.

You will greet guests, handle inquiries, and coordinate with departments while maintaining health and safety procedures. Knowledge of menus and daily F&B activities is essential, along with accurate administrative support and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years secretarial experience in hotels
• Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit
• Health/food handler card as required by local authorities
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and callers, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
• Operate office equipment
• Prepare, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports
• Be fully conversant with health and safety, fire and emergency procedures
• Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities
• Maintain efficient administration within the department by preparing and submitting operational reports on time
• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation

Duties and Responsibilities

As F&B Team Member, you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

Qualifications

To execute the position of F&B Team Member, you must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years secretarial experience at a resort, hotel or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.

• Fluent in English.
