Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking an Automation Systems Engineer to execute automation-related projects and qualify systems for reliable operations in injectable manufacturing environments.

You will coordinate with vendors and OEMs, plan for hardware redundancy, and implement upgrades while adhering to GAMP/ISA standards and internal change-management policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Graduation in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, or related field is mandatory.
• 3+ / 6+ years of experience
• Exposure to automation systems in injectable manufacturing is desirable.
• Experience with validation activities for automated systems is preferred.
• Familiar with GAMP and ISA standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation-related projects and qualify systems to ensure reliable performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs to track project execution against schedules.
• Plan for redundant hardware availability to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Develop and implement a monitoring program for component obsolescence and timely replacement.
• Apply industry best practices such as GAMP and ISA standards, and adhere to corporate policies for automation routines, requalification, and change management.
• Execute design reviews and optimize testing phases for automation systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Standardize automation software and hardware configurations with minimal customization.
• Plan and execute system upgrades in coordination with vendors and IT teams, and support complex troubleshooting and investigations related to automation systems.

Job Summary
This role is for an Automation Systems Engineer responsible for executing automation-related projects and qualifying systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations. The position involves coordinating with vendors and OEMs to manage project schedules, resolve implementation challenges, and maintain system performance. The engineer will plan for hardware redundancy, monitor component obsolescence, and implement upgrades and replacements as needed.

• You will be responsible for planning for redundant hardware availability to minimize breakdown time and ensure continuous operation of automation systems.


• You will be responsible for developing and implementing a monitoring program for automation system component obsolescence and timely replacement.


• You will be responsible for applying industry best practices such as GAMP and ISA standards, and adhering to corporate policies for automation routines, requalification, and change management.


• You will be responsible for executing design reviews and optimizing testing phases for automation systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

Educational qualification-Diploma/ Graduation in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is mandatory
