Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. in India seeks an SME of HVAC with extensive experience in engineering maintenance and automation. The role will oversee standalone PLCs, DCS, HVAC, WFI, PW, steam, and plant utility infrastructure to ensure regulatory compliance and system reliability across operations.

The candidate will lead CAPEX projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive energy efficiency while maintaining audit readiness through robust documentation and QMS practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field is mandatory.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in pharma engineering/maintenance roles.
• Experience with GMP/FDA compliance and calibration procedures in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of critical engineering systems to ensure continuous availability and minimal downtime.
• Ensure GMP, FDA compliance by conducting internal audits, enforcing safety protocols, and implementing CAPAs.
• Lead and execute engineering and automation projects from initiation to completion including resource planning and budgets.
• Maintain and optimize automation systems, identify performance gaps, and drive improved architectures.
• Develop and monitor calibration schedules in SAP, executing as per SOPs and improving instrument reliability.
• Design and improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and conduct RCA/RCM analyses.
• Train and mentor engineering teams on maintenance procedures and hazard identification.
• Prepare and execute equipment qualification and validation schedules (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) with proper documentation.

We are looking for SME of HVAC

This role is for an Engineering Maintenance and Automation Manager, responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical engineering systems including Standalone PLCs, DCS, HVAC, WFI, PW, steam, and utility infrastructure. The position ensures regulatory compliance, safety adherence, and system reliability through preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.

Key responsibilities include leading engineering projects, managing CAPEX budgets, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring timely execution of automation, calibration, and modification activities. The role also focuses on optimizing automation systems, driving energy efficiency, and maintaining audit readiness through robust documentation and quality management practices.

• Prepare and execute equipment qualification and validation schedules—including URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols and ensure documentation compliance through cross-functional coordination.
