Hird Private Limited seeks a senior finance reporting lead to manage fund and investment level reporting for private equity, hedge funds and GP stakes. You will act as SME for the team, mentor colleagues, and deliver ad-hoc reports and dashboards for senior management and clients.

You will ensure timely delivery within SLAs, coordinate with global stakeholders, and identify process improvements while maintaining strong client relationships and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in finance with at least 8 years of relevant experience in alternate asset industry.
• Strong knowledge of fund/investment level reporting (cash flow, capital calls/distributions, valuation, LP reporting).
• Experience with monthly/quarterly reports like Factsheets, Track Records, Performance Summaries, PPMs, Pitchbooks; familiarity with iLevel or 73Strings is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal English communication; able to work with global stakeholders.

About the Team:

The team manages all reporting activities for Senior Management, Limited Partners, and regulatory stakeholders, working closely with the Valuations team in New York. Its responsibilities span three key areas: collecting, validating and uploading the fund & investment level data, delivering regular reporting for internal stakeholders, LPs, and senior leadership; along with handling ad-hoc analytical requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a good understanding of the investment strategies for Private Equity, Hedge Funds, & GP Stakes.
• Become the SME and the 'Go To' person for the team members for any doubts related to the process.
• Preparing Ad-Hoc reports/dashboards as per management's requirement.
• Ensure timely allocation and delivery of work to the client without breaching the SLAs/KPIs.
• Mentor and coach, the team members by providing them with timely feedback.
• Build a solid relationship with the clients and ensure they get the best possible experience from the team.
• Identify process gaps and drive process improvement projects.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Candidate must be a Postgraduate in finance with at least 8 years of relevant experience in alternate asset industry.
• Should have very good working knowledge of answering Fund/Investment level reporting like cash flow reporting, capital calls/distributions, Valuation reporting, LP reporting, etc.
• Expertise in various reporting documents on a monthly and quarterly basis, such as Factsheets, Track Records, Performance Summaries, Marketing Materials, PPMs, Pitchbooks, etc.
• Experience in iLevel, 73Strings, or any reporting software is advantageous.
• The ability to effectively work as an individual contributor and a people manager who possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, multitask, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• The profile involves effective communication across clients' facilities globally and hence possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English is a must.
• A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders.
