Qualifications

• Postgraduate in finance with 6–8 years of private equity experience.
• Basic knowledge of valuation techniques such as DCFs and comparables.
• Strong experience in answering DD questionnaires and fund reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with iLevel or 73Strings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of investment strategies across PE, Tactical Opportunity, Life Sciences, Infra, Energy, Growth funds.
• Become SME and go‑to person for process‑related queries.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and dashboards per management requirements.
• Ensure timely allocation and delivery of work without breaching SLAs or KPIs.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure excellent service.
• Prepare process documentation and SOPs.

Lead Analyst – Portfolio Management

About the Team

The team is responsible for managing all reporting activities for Senior Management, Limited Partners, and other regulatory bodies. The role requires working closely with the Investor Product Strategy and Valuations team in New York. It has 3 major functions:

Major Functions

• – Data Collection & Governance: Collecting required data from portfolio companies, scrubbing the data, and uploading it to the firm’s portfolio monitoring system.
• – Data Reporting: Responsible for regular reporting needs of LPs, Senior Management, etc.
• – Data Analysis: Handling substantive analytics and ad-hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities

• – Develop a good understanding of investment strategies for Private Equity, Tactical Opportunity, Life Sciences, Infra, Energy, Growth funds, and other business units as required.
• – Become the SME and the go-to person for team members for any process-related queries.
• – Prepare ad-hoc reports and dashboards as per management requirements.
• – Ensure timely allocation and delivery of work without breaching SLAs or KPIs.
• – Build solid relationships with clients and ensure they receive the best possible experience.
• – Prepare process documentation and create SOPs.
• – Identify process gaps and drive process improvement projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

• – Postgraduate in finance with 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in private equity concepts, fee structures, and end-to-end business valuations.
• – Basic conceptual knowledge of valuation techniques like DCFs, Comparable Company Analysis, etc.
• – Strong working knowledge of answering Due Diligence Questionnaires and other fund or investment level reporting like Valuation and LP reporting.
• – Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word).
• – Experience in iLevel, 73Strings, or any reporting software is advantageous.
• – Ability to work as an individual contributor and a people manager with strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English.
• – Desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders.
