Job summary

ModMed India is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to oversee KPI reviews and drive performance improvements in our US Healthcare RCM function. You will monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics, manage backlog and past-due SLAs, and promote a data-driven, resolution-oriented approach across the team.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with the Quality team, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure high productivity and quality levels while supporting DDIE process adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM with AR Calling and 2 years in people-management
• Hands-on experience with Federal and Commercial insurances in a provider setup
• Strong knowledge of billing scrubbers, clearinghouse, payer rejections, and end-to-end RCM processes
• Good understanding of major AR scenarios and experience with multiple payers
• Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
• Strong multitasking ability, capable of taking active call notes and collaborating with multiple stakeholders

The incumbent will drive continuous performance improvement while ensuring backlog and past‑due percentages are maintained within defined SLAs. The role also focuses on achieving productivity and quality goals through a resolution‑driven approach.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and identify, implement, and track improvement opportunities
• Mentor and coach team members as required
• Coordinate with the Quality team to identify gaps and mitigate issues by providing regular feedback to the team
• Act as a problem solver for the team, identify opportunities within the DDIE model, and manage team absenteeism

Job Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM with strong expertise in AR Calling and 2 years experience in a people‑management role
• Hands‑on experience with both Federal and Commercial insurances in a provider setup
• Strong knowledge of billing scrubbers, clearinghouse (CH), payer rejections, and end‑to‑end RCM processes
• Good understanding of major AR scenarios and experience working with multiple payers (added advantage)
• Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
• Strong multitasking ability, capable of taking active call notes and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
