Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned SCM Coordinator for large-scale Solar PV and BESS projects in India. The role oversees supply chain and logistics monitoring to ensure timely material availability for construction and commissioning milestones.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years in supply chain/logistics/material management, with 3-5 years on utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects, and familiarity with 300 MW+ solar projects. CSCP/CPIM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or material management.
• 3–5 years on utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
• Experience supporting 300 MW+ solar projects.
• Strong material tracking, logistics coordination, and EPC/vendor management.
• CSCP/CPIM or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track material availability, manufacturing progress, inspection releases, dispatch, transit, and site delivery status.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, delivery forecasts, container movement, and material receipt activities.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, freight partners, and site teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Identify and elevate critical material shortages, delays, damages, and preservation risks.
• Support workfront planning by providing material readiness and delivery status updates.
• Maintain procurement and logistics trackers for key project equipment and materials.
• Support supply chain reporting and expedite activities for critical project packages.

• Strong understanding of logistics planning, inventory control, delivery forecasting, and material management.
