ARaymond in India is seeking a senior Product Development & Engineering professional with 8–10 years BE/BTech experience to lead new product design for North customers, monitor cost and delivery, and drive project documentation. You will manage daily/weekly planning, perform feasibility studies, benchmark against competition, and support ISO 27001/27K information security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Role includes new product design for North customers.
• Handle customer queries related to new design/development.
• Monitor quality, cost and delivery time of each project.
• Daily/weekly work planning for the department.
• Support feasibility studies and product ideation.
• Maintain project documentation per QMS.
• Product feature standardization and competitive benchmarking.
• RFQ hit rate improvement and North market audits.
• Cost monitoring and control for new design projects.
• Identify training needs and drive team performance.
• Ensure information security policies are followed within department.

Role and responsibilities

Product Development & Engineering:

• Responsible for new products/parts designing (For North customers only)
• Responsible for customer query handling related to any new design/development
• Responsible for monitoring and recoding quality, cost and delivery time of each project
• Responsible for daily/weekly work planning for the department
• Facilitate new product feasibility study
• Responsible for project documentation as per QMS
• Responsible for generating new product ideas/innovative products.
• Product Feature Standardization
• Competition product benchmarking analysis
• RFQ hit rate improvement.
• Responsible for North market customer audit

Cost Monitoring

• Responsible for cost monitoring and control for all new product design and development work including alternative raw material.

Self & Team Development

• Identify specific training needs to improve efficiency (Skill and behavioral)
• To review the existing team performance on a regular basis. Drive & engage the team towards creating innovative ideas/products.

ISO 27K-

• Maintaining awareness and adherence about applicable information security policies and procedures
• Maintaining compliance with contractual requirements
• Ensuring information, they use or information under their custody is adequately protected as per ARaymond information security expectations.
• Reporting any noted suspicious behavior, vulnerability, and incidents to authority
• To ensure information security policies and procedures are implemented in their department.
• To promote adherence and awareness about information security within department
• Participation in information security management deployment
• Support in establishing information security conscious culture
