Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 10-12 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Creo 8.0 for design and development.
• Experience with APQP, DFMEA and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products/parts (plastic tube assembly) using Creo 8.0.
• Handle customer queries related to design/development.
• Define functional analysis and DFMEA at system level.
• Monitor quality, cost and delivery times for each project.
• Prepare project documentation per QMS and APQP processes.

Role and responsibilities

Product Development & Engineering

• Responsible for new products/parts (plastic tube assembly) designing using Creo 8.0
• Responsible for customer query handling related to any new design/development.
• Knowledge of nylon tubes material and forming processes.
• Knowledge of tube structure, size, tube interfaces and materials.
• Knowledge of tube routing, Design guide
• Defining of functional analysis and DFMEA at a system level.
• Validation of technical bricks.
• Responsible for manufacturing of proto tooling and parts submission.
• Responsible for monitoring and recording quality, cost and delivery time of each project.
• Responsible for daily/weekly work planning for the project being handled.
• Responsible for new product technical feasibility study,Design review, DVP etc.
• Responsible for Project documentation as per QMS & should have knowledge in APQP process.
• Responsible for generating new product ideas/innovative products.
• Product Feature Standardization.
• Product benchmarking analysis/Line Walk/Tier down
• RFQ hit rate improvement.
• CAD data Management.
• Responsible for audits internal, customer as well as 3rd party.

Cost Monitoring

• Responsible for cost monitoring and control for all new product design and development work including alternative raw material.

Self & Team Development

• Identify specific training needs to improve efficiency (Skill and behavioural).
• To review the existing team performance on a regular basis. Drive & Engage the team towards creating innovative ideas/products.

ISO 27K

• Maintaining awareness and adherence about applicable information security policies and procedures
• Maintaining compliance with contractual requirements
• Ensuring information they use or information under their custody is adequately protected as per ARaymond information security expectations
• Reporting any noted suspicious behaviour, vulnerability and incidents to authority
• To ensure information security policies and procedures are implemented in their department
• To promote adherence and awareness about information security within department
• Participation in information security management deployment
• Support in establishing information security conscious culture

Education and experience

BE / B. Tech - Mechanical with 10 to 12 Years of Experience
