Job summary

BVR People Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking a senior leader to own the branch P&L, drive growth across non-IT sectors, and manage multi-hundred person recruitment operations. You will partner with HR heads and hiring managers to plan, forecast, and execute strategic hiring initiatives.

The role emphasizes client management, data-driven decision making, and building a high-performance team to meet ambitious targets across diverse sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own branch P&L, revenue goals and margin targets.
• Drive business development, client acquisition and account expansion in non-IT.
• Prepare and present quarterly/annual business plans, forecasts and growth strategies.
• Oversee end-to-end non-IT recruitment operations (volume hiring and leadership search).
• Define SLAs, TATs and quality benchmarks for client mandates.
• Track metrics like cost-per-hire, fill rates, no-shows and client satisfaction.
• Lead and scale a team of Recruitment Leads, Account Managers and Sourcing Specialists.
• Conduct performance reviews and set KPIs to drive high performance.
• Train and upskill the branch team and plan succession.
• Manage key client relationships and escalate major issues.
• Run regular QBRs with clients to align on delivery and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & P&L Management
   • Own the branch or vertical Profit & Loss (P&L), revenue goals, and margin targets.
   • Drive business development, client acquisition, and account expansion across non-IT sectors.
   • Prepare and present quarterly/annual business plans, forecasts, and growth strategies to top management.
2. Recruitment & Delivery Operations
   • Oversee end-to-end non-IT recruitment operations (volume hiring, niche roles, middle-to-senior, and leadership/executive search).
   • Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Turnaround Times (TAT), and quality benchmarks for client mandates.
   • Track key recruitment metrics including cost-per-hire, fill rates, drop-off/no-show ratios, and client satisfaction.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
   • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Recruitment Leads, Account Managers, and Sourcing Specialists.
   • Conduct performance reviews, set individual/team KPIs, and drive a high-performance culture.
   • Handle training, skill enhancement, and succession planning for the branch team.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
   • Act as the primary escalation point for key client accounts.
   • Maintain strong relationships with HR heads and hiring managers of client organizations.
   • Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) with clients to align on delivery and pipeline expectations.
