The position requires 7+ years in UX design or related disciplines, with 4+ years in leadership. You will mentor designers, drive design quality, and collaborate with product, research, engineering, and stakeholders.

About the Role and Team:

The Team Lead, UX Design is responsible for leading a small team of UX Designers while actively contributing to product design delivery. This role ensures that high-quality, user-centered design solutions are delivered across assigned product areas, while continuously improving design practices, team capabilities, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. In addition to hands‑on design responsibilities, this role focuses on developing team members, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment between UX design activities, product goals, and business objectives.

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX Designers by setting clear expectations, providing continuous feedback, and supporting professional growth. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with strong ownership and accountability.
• UX Design Delivery: Contribute to and lead the design thinking cycle by proactively identifying user problems and opportunities and delivering UX design solutions across all phases of the Product Development Process (discovery, scope analysis, development, and validation).
• Design Quality and Consistency: Ensure high standards of UX design quality across the team by applying and evolving the UX design framework, design system, and best practices. Promote consistency and scalability of design solutions. Designs are web / desktop focused.
• Work Planning and Prioritization: Plan and prioritize UX design activities across the team, ensuring alignment with Product Development Process phases, product priorities, and delivery timelines to maximize impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX Research, UX Writing, Engineering, and stakeholders, providing UX design consultations during product definition and scope analysis, and acting as a subject matter expert within product domain teams.
• User-Centered Design Advocacy: Advocate for user-centered design principles by proactively identifying user needs, and ensuring that design decisions are guided by user insights, while acting as a trusted UX expert in balancing user, business, and technical perspectives.
• Process Improvement and Best Practices: Contribute to the evolution of UX ways of working, frameworks, and internal processes. Identify improvement opportunities and help scale successful practices across teams.
• Recruitment and Talent Growth: Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of UX Designers. Participate in hiring processes and contribute to building a strong design organization.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure alignment between UX design outcomes and broader product and business objectives. Communicate design decisions clearly and influence stakeholders effectively.

• Strong experience in UX / product design with a proven track record of delivering user-centered solutions for complex digital products.
• 7+ years of experience in UX design or related disciplines, with demonstrable impact on product quality and user experience.
• 4+ years of experience in leading, mentoring, or managing UX Designers or similar roles.
• Experience balancing people leadership responsibilities with hands‑on design execution.
• Strong knowledge of UX methodologies, interaction design, and design systems.
• Experience working in cross‑functional environments with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Experience applying AI‑supported tools to accelerate UX design workflows across the Product Development Process, including discovery, scope definition, prototyping, validation, and release phases
• Ability to structure and prioritize design work in alignment with product and business goals.
• Ability to make and own UX design decisions, balancing user needs, business objectives and technical constraints
• Ability to take ownership of UX design outcomes within assigned domains and ensure successful delivery across the Product Development Process
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and structure UX design work across multiple scopes in alignment with product priorities
• Strong understanding of the how UX design contributes across all phases of product development process (discovery, scope definition, development, validation, release)
• Ability to mentor and develop UX Designers by setting expectations, providing structured feedback, and scaling design quality across the team
• Strong ability to frame user problems and translate them into actionable design opportunities
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, detail‑oriented approach to design challenges.
• Experience with modern design tools such as Figma or similar at least 2 years.
• Experience working with distributed and cross‑cultural teams is an advantage.
• Experience in SaaS, AdTech, or other complex technology-driven domains is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
