Job summary

Adform India is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead big data platform development teams, delivering on the product roadmap with strong stakeholder management.

You will hire, onboard, and develop career plans for team members, while guiding architecture and tech decisions across Java/Scala streams, ETL, and microservices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience as a technical contributor.
• 2–3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Familiar with Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, and Backend APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot).

You will be responsible for hiring and on-boarding of new team members and developing career plans for team members.

Attitude First. Everything else will follow. We can grow together faster if you have:

• Overall 10+ years of experience in software development industry as technical contributor
• 2-3+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams
• Able to understand technical topics/terminologies of Java/Scala Stream processing, ETL, Backend API
• Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus
• Must have worked on microservices architecture
• Ability to provide technical guidance to development team during solution implementation
• Hands-on user of AI-assisted/agentic development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot) with experience encouraging and guiding adoption across a team
