Job summary

Adform in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our big data platform development teams and deliver on the product roadmap, while hiring and developing new talent and shaping career paths.

You will mentor engineers on Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, and backend APIs, promote engineering best practices, and foster an AI‑driven development culture in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development as a technical contributor.
• 2-3+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams; able to understand Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, Backend API.
• Hands-on user of AI-assisted/agentic development tools (Claude Code, Copilot) with team adoption experience.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus; must have worked on microservices architecture.
