Job summary

Sapphire Info Solutions in Mohali (On-site) invites a Team Lead- Accounts (UK) with 4-5+ years of UK accounting experience to lead a 4-6 member delivery team. You will oversee bookkeeping, VAT, and year-end work, review statements and VAT, and ensure SLA compliance while driving automation and SOPs.

Strong English communication and leadership are essential, with exposure to Xero/QuickBooks/Sage/FreeAgent and UK GAAP procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4-5+ years in UK accounting, including managing 4-6 full-time employees.
• Education: ACCA (Qualified/Part-Qualified) / CA / CA-Inter / M.Com / B.Com.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a delivery team of 4-6 members handling bookkeeping, VAT, and year-end accounts.
• Review financial statements, VAT calculations, and tax packs to ensure quality.
• Assure compliance with standards, manage capacity planning, task allocation, and SLAs.
• Drive process improvements, automation and adherence to SOPs.
• Act as primary client contact via calls and emails, ensuring clear communication.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance management, and training; support recruitment and onboarding.

Overview

Sapphire Info Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead Accounts (UK) to manage a delivery team and ensure high-quality Financial operations for UK-based clients. This role requires strong technical experience in UK accounting standards, leadership excellent client communication skills.

Experience & Education

Experience: 4-5+ years in UK accounting, including managing 4-6 full-time employees

Education: ACCA (Qualified/Part-Qualified) / CA / CA-Inter / M.Com / B.Com.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1-Lead a delivery team of 4-6 members handling bookkeeping, VAT, and year-end accounts
2. 2- Review Financial statements, VAT calculations, and tax packs to ensure quality
3. 3-assurance standards are met ,Manage capacity planning, task allocation, and service level agreements (SLAs)
4. 4-Drive process improvements, automation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
