About the Role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented UK Accountant with strong experience in year‑end accounts finalisation. You will manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for a portfolio of UK‑based clients. This is a role that combines technical expertise, independence, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise accounts for UK companies (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, reconciliations, annual accounts, and reports).
• Handle FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A accounts for diverse business structures (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders).
• Work confidently on accounting platforms including CCH, Iris, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Analyse general ledgers, record journal entries, and post year‑end adjustments.
• Prepare UK Corporation Tax (CT600) returns.
• Collaborate directly with clients, providing high‑quality service and clear communication.
• Stay up to date with UK taxation and payroll guidelines.
• Manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
