Job summary

Manjilas Food Tech in Pollachi seeks an experienced production leader to oversee shift operations, planning and execution to achieve output targets.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree (Mechanical/Industrial Production) or B.Tech with 4–5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with SAP, GMP, TPM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial Production) or B.Tech.
• Relevant work experience: min 4–5 years in production/shifts.
• Knowledge of SAP, GMP, TPM and MS Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift production planning and execution to meet output targets.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the specified time.
• Enhance efficiency and minimize downtime, rejections, and wastage.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and related records.
• Participate in decision making for production and quality.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and PPE used by employees.

• To ensure the planning & implementation of Production and its output
• To ensure production targets are achieved within the specified time
• Ensuring efficiency of production processes and minimize downtime, rejection and wastage
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards & maintaining all related records and documents
• To involve in decision making activities for production/ Quality
• Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Ensure safe working practices throughout the shift
• Report accidents, near misses and incidents immediately
• Ensure stock availability, stock validation against records and oversee stock movement
• Ensures budgeting guidelines are met
• Assists in Capex Budget planning
• Oversee machines are maintained well
