Job summary

Real Time Data Services Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Leader to oversee end-to-end AR processes, billing, invoicing, collections and cash applications for domestic clients.

You will monitor DSO, prepare ageing reports and collaborate with Sales, Operations and Legal to resolve disputes. You should have 7–12 years in accounting/finance with an MBA in Finance, hands-on experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho CRM and ERP systems, and proven team management skills to

• 7–12 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with relevant Accounts Receivable exposure.
• MBA in Finance is mandatory.
• Experience handling domestic clients is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AR processes, including billing, invoicing, collections, credit control, and cash application.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices in line with contracts and payment terms.
• Manage receivables and collections for domestic clients, with understanding of Indian payment practices.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and drive collection efficiency to reduce DSO.
• Resolve payment disputes and escalate issues with Sales, Legal, and Operations as needed.
• Serve as the primary contact for domestic client finance teams for payment cycles and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Legal to manage client credit limits and payment terms.
• Prepare AR ageing reports, cash flow forecasts, and collection trend analysis for leadership.
• Drive performance, training, and development to build a high-performing AR function.
• Lead and mentor a team of AR analysts or executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including billing, invoicing, collections, credit control, and cash application.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices in alignment with customer contracts and agreed payment terms.
• Manage receivables and collections for domestic clients, with a strong understanding of Indian customer payment practices and follow-up processes.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and drive collection efficiency to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
• Resolve payment disputes and elevate overdue accounts in coordination with Sales, Legal, and Operations teams.
• Serve as a key point of contact for domestic client finance teams to align on payment cycles, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Delivery, and Legal) to manage client credit limits and payment terms.
• Prepare AR ageing reports, cash flow forecasts, and collection trend analysis for senior leadership.
• Drive performance, training, and development to build a high-performing AR function.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AR analysts or executives.
• Handle large customer accounts and high-volume transactions while ensuring timely follow-ups and closure.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes.
• Hands‑on experience in domestic client collections and receivables management is required.
• Good knowledge of billing, invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, credit control, and dispute resolution.
• Expertise in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho CRM, and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Strong team management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
